Forbes Magazine Names Cambridge as One of the “Most Livable” Cities

Forbes Magazine has ranked Cambridge among the top 10 most livable cities in America in 2009. Cambridge Picked Top Spot for Singles: Friendly Activities and Night Life

And the winner is…CAMBRIDGE. Today’s Boston Sunday Globe Magazine includes an article entitled “Top Spots to Live.” The Globe asked members of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors to name the top communities in eastern and central Massachusetts in different categories. Harvard Bookstore in Harvard Square

Living in Cambridge makes it easy to visit the Harvard Bookstore.  The Harvard Bookstore is a Cambridge classic. What Will Fill Crate and Barrel Store in Ben Thompson Building at 40 Brattle?

The Crate and Barrel Store in Harvard Square at 40 Brattle Street has closed. The building at 40 Brattle was designed and developed in 1969 by the former Harvard Graduate School of Design chairman of architecture, Benjamin C. Thompson. The building served as the headquarters for his legendary (and now-defunct) home furnishings company, Design Research.
