<p>You can get an overall sense of the shops and services found in <strong>Inman Square</strong> on the website for the square at <a href="http://www.inmansquare.com" target="_blank"><strong>Inman Square</strong></a>.  <strong>Inman Square</strong> truly is one of the last bastions of owner-run businesses in Cambridge. Favorite <strong>Inman Square</strong> destinations &#8211; to name just a few &#8211; include Christina&#8217;s Ice Cream, StellaBella Toys, and Cafe 1369 Coffee House.</p>

<p>The heart of <strong>Inman Square</strong> is the intersection of Hampshire and Beacon and Cambridge Streets. As with other so-called squares in Cambridge, <strong>Inman Square</strong> is not a square but rather the name given to a neighborhood surrounding the center point. There are not really any clearly defined <strong>Inman Square</strong> boundary lines. That being said, Cambridge Street is certainly the main street of the neighborhood, especially between Hampshire and Columbia Streets.</p>
<p>As for real estate, all residential property types &#8211; condominiums, single families, and multifamilies &#8211; are found in <strong>Inman Square</strong>.</p>

Some have private decks and there is also a common patio. There is both garage and outdoor parking. There is no elevator in the three-story building.</p>
<p>Most recently a first floor unit sold in the building for $309,750<strong>. </strong>This first floor residence is located in the rear corner of the building. It is reported to feature 1 bedroom, 1 bath and 628 square feet of living area. There is one outdoor parking space assigned to the unit. The location of the unit is close to the common laundry room and patio area. I had a chance to visit the residence.</p>

The developer gave each unit owner its own exclusive use yard space. The two-car tandem parking was given to the larger and more expensive on the second and third floors.</p>

<p>A restored 1838 Greek Revival. Three townhomes. Picture-perfect from sidewalk. An appealing aspect of this address is its slight elevation from Magazine Street, which is fortunate to have telophone lines buried underground rather than up on poles. It&#8217;s nice, too, that the developer landscaped the property so well. Bathroom finishes especially nice here. It&#8217;s too bad the second bedrooms could not be a wee bit bigger. Finished lower levels make up for this to some extent.</p>
